Chicago is a great place to live if you meet or exceed the cost of living standard. I do not meet that standard therefore, I live in an economically depressed area, which is crime ridden and unsafe to raise my son. The weather is atrocious. Today, the temperature is -14 with a windchill of -30 the school system in my area is subpar at best. I work 9 to 5 everyday and can't afford to truly live a comfortable lifestyle and that's just unacceptable. Oh yeah and taxes and gas prices are ridiculous so that pretty much sums it up...
