Flower Mound, Great place to live
I've lived in Flower Mound for the past 21 years and can't imagine living anywhere else in the DFW area. Nice people, reasonable housing costs, reasonable property tax rate, lovely neighborhoods. Close enough to DFW airport to be convenient to all of the DFW metroplex, but far enough away to not be bothered by the planes. Since we are north of the airport, and the majority of the "wind" in Texas comes in from the south, we seldom have planes taking off (the noisiest part of planes) over our heads. I have lived in the DFW area for over 50 years and Flower Mound is by far the best place in this area.
