Arg!!! - 6/27/2009
Hi,
Just call me kellycat. I was born and raised in New York and lived in several boroughs. When I was a child things were alot better than it is now. I guess the same is true for alot of places. I miss polite, caring and educated people, clean and safe streets. I also miss decent dressing as well. I don't consider myself a city person anymore. I guess NY is OK for people that enjoy wild living and don't mind the extremely high cost of living or the rude behaviors that exist. But as for me, I am considering moving but can't find what I'm looking for, yet. Anyway, thanks for letting me share my thoughts. Any suggestions?

Cute, Busy, but Expensive Village - 9/26/2007
Bronxville is an island oasis of safety and relative calm in lower Westchester County. One mile to the South is Mount Vernon, which has many of the congested aspects of the Bronx. To the West is Yonkers, where suburban neighborhoods quickly give way to dense urban development. Bronxville, itself, is a quiet, clean, safe, and enjoyable place to walk around, visit coffee shops, eat at restaurants, and browse books and antiques. The train station is at the heart of the community, and it's close proximity to Manhattan, but quiet feel gives the town the ideal mix for commuters and their families.
Just one problem. The average house price is close to a million bucks. In New York, all comfort comes at a

The cost of living is high. I go shopping in placed like Costco, Pathmark and the military commissary to save money on food and goods.
The website is also a great place to look for things that are
