Roanoke & Smith Mountain Lake - 5/20/2006
Wonderful mountain vistas, lake enjoyment and rolling hills with lush greenery make this a beautiful place to live. Low Taxes, not too crowded, but still has the small to medium size city conveniences. Mild Climate, good shopping and restaurants, with warm friendly people grace the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains in southwestern Virginia. Smith Mountain Lake is a destination for the 'Quality of Lisfe' retirement minded baby-boomers. Growing as a stand alone community, it is full of Events and Lake amenities such as boating, fishing, golf and much more!
