Developers are ruining Alamo Heights - 3/11/2007
And the City Council is allowing it. I've lived here 15 years and own my house in Alamo Heights which happens to be located on one of the best streets. The historical houses are demolished and mini-mansions(big stucco houses with concrete yards) are replacing them. The respect and perservation for the unique, historical value of the city is disappearing. The "buyers" of these new unacceptable houses are moving from north San Antonio to Alamo Heights just to avoid the traffic and could care less about the beauty and charm of Alamo Read More
